On September 16, 2025, the JM2 Architecture D.P.C. team joined fellow industry professionals for the annual Long Island Builders Institute (LIBI) Golf & Softball Outing at Baiting Hollow Golf Club. The event brought together builders, developers, architects, and community partners from across Long Island for a day filled with networking, camaraderie, and a little friendly competition.

A Day for Teamwork and Celebration

Our JM2 Architecture D.P.C. crew showed up strong across both events:

  • On the course → JamesEmilyBrian, and Thomas represented JM2 Architecture D.P.C. on the greens, with James taking home the coveted “Beat the Pro” win. 🏆
  • On the field → Jason and Stefan joined the softball game, bringing their team spirit beyond the office.
  • On the sidelines → Dawn came out to cheer everyone on, reminding us that support off the field is just as important as the players on it.

Why Community Matters

At JM2 Architecture D.P.C., we believe architecture isn’t only about buildings — it’s about people, relationships, and the communities we help shape. Events like the LIBI outing give us the chance to step away from drawings and job sites, reconnect with peers, and celebrate the partnerships that make Long Island’s building industry thrive.

Thank You, LIBI

A heartfelt thank you to Long Island Builders Institute (LIBI) for hosting another successful outing. We’re proud to be part of an organization that continues to strengthen and support the building community here on Long Island.

We’re looking for sponsors and donors to help us make the biggest impact possible. Every contribution — big or small — helps us fight hunger right here on Long Island.

There are certain events on the Long Island calendar that remind you why this industry is so special. The Long Island Builders Institute Home, Trade & Remodeling Expo is one of them. This year, the JM2 Architecture, D.P.C. team was proud to be part of it, booth and all. A Room Full of the Right People The LIBI Expo brings together the best of Long Island's building and construction community under one roof. Builders, developers, contractors, suppliers, and design professionals, all in the same place, at the same time, with the same passion for what gets built on this Island. For a firm like JM2 Architecture, D.P.C., it's one of the most energizing days of the year. Our team showed up ready to connect, and the conversations did not disappoint. Whether it was catching up with long-time colleagues, meeting new faces, or talking through the kinds of projects that get everyone in the room excited, the energy throughout the day was exactly what you'd hope for from an event like this. Why Events Like This Matter to Us At JM2 Architecture, D.P.C., we've always believed that great buildings start with great relationships. The work we do, whether it's a commercial development, a residential project, or a large-scale hospitality venue, depends on the trust and collaboration of the broader Long Island building community. Contractors, developers, municipalities, and suppliers all play a role in bringing our designs to life, and events like the LIBI Expo are where those relationships are built and strengthened. We're not just an architecture firm that happens to be based on Long Island. We're part of this community. We live here, we work here, and we care deeply about the quality of what gets built here. Getting to spend time surrounded by others who feel the same way is genuinely one of the highlights of our year. What's Ahead for JM2 Architecture, D.P.C. If you stopped by our booth or crossed paths with our team at the Expo, you already know we have a lot going on. From exciting commercial projects and residential designs to the much-anticipated Patchogue Hotel currently under construction, JM2 Architecture, D.P.C. is as busy and energized as ever heading into the rest of 2026. If we didn't get a chance to connect, it's not too late. We'd love to hear about what you're building and talk about how we can help make it better. Let's Keep the Conversation Going Events like the LIBI Expo are a starting point, not an ending one. Whether you're a developer with a project in the pipeline, a contractor looking for a reliable architectural partner, or a business owner ready to finally build the space your company deserves, we're here and ready to talk. The Long Island building community is something to be proud of, and we look forward to being part of it for many years to come.

A building does more than hold your business together — it shapes how your clients experience your brand, how your team performs, and how your investment grows over time. At JM2 Architecture, D.P.C., we design commercial spaces that don't just look exceptional. They function with purpose, perform under real-world demands, and reflect the ambition of the businesses inside them. More Than a Blueprint There's a common misconception that an architect's job ends when the drawings are done. At JM2 Architecture, D.P.C., that couldn't be further from the truth. We partner with business owners, developers, and contractors from the very first conversation through the final walkthrough — and we stay involved at every phase in between. Our process is built on four pillars: Discovery & Planning, Design Development, Documentation & Permitting, and Construction Oversight. Each phase is managed with precision and transparency, so you always know where your project stands, what decisions are ahead, and how your investment is being protected. This isn't project management by committee. It's a focused, collaborative approach led by a team of licensed architects who care deeply about the outcome. The Full Spectrum of Commercial Work JM2 Architecture, D.P.C. handles the full range of commercial architecture on Long Island and beyond. Office buildings and corporate spaces. Retail and mixed-use developments. Restaurants and hospitality environments. Healthcare and medical facilities. Municipal and educational projects. Industrial and warehouse design. Each of these project types comes with its own set of complexities — code requirements, zoning considerations, operational needs, and community context. Our team has navigated all of them, many times over, and we bring that depth of experience to every new project we take on. Local Knowledge That Gives You an Edge Long Island has its own building codes, zoning boards, and municipal personalities. What works in one town may face entirely different approval processes three miles away. Our team has spent years building relationships with local building departments across Nassau and Suffolk Counties, and that knowledge translates directly into faster approvals, fewer surprises, and projects that stay on schedule. This isn't something you can replicate by hiring an outside firm with no local roots. It's earned through years of doing the work here, for clients here, in communities we genuinely call home. Trusted by Developers, Contractors & Municipalities The best measure of an architectural firm isn't how it describes itself — it's who keeps coming back. JM2 Architecture, D.P.C. has earned the trust of developers, general contractors, and municipalities across Long Island who rely on us for clear documentation, responsive communication, and designs that are actually buildable. We don't design in a vacuum. We design with construction realities in mind, which means fewer change orders, fewer conflicts in the field, and better outcomes for everyone involved. Let's Build Something That Performs Whether you're developing a new commercial property, expanding your existing facility, or reimagining a space that no longer serves your needs, JM2 Architecture, D.P.C. is ready to help you think bigger and build better. Reach out at jm2architecture.com or call us at (631) 320-3305. Let's start with a conversation about what you're building — and how we can help you build it right.
